Let me find her water,
the first medicine of morning
calming the intensities flaming in dreams
and easing opening star cleared eyes

find her waiting
with the patience of eternity
reflecting clear yellowless beams
pulling sparkling waves along the sand

Let me find her light,
believing down into the abyss
the Alexandrian lighthouse
cutting salvation on the surface

find her knowing
since before the question
the answer has always been
one that my hope was lost for

Let me give her water,
the last reflections of night
calming the tension seething behind days
filling the wells behind the eyes

give her waiting
with this moment of life
sending her my diaphanous beams
melting glaciers into oceans

Let me give her vibrance
in that we are poles
the opposite forces
an infinite source for each other

give her knowing
since before the answer
the question has always been
one that her hope was lost for
