Judge of Time

I was getting to be such a
Good judge of time
A year and some months without a watch
After loosing my fathers gift
Can't remember having been late
Or needing to time anything
Still it was decided for me that I should have one
Once made a gift
Cemented into being one of my possessions
I'm not one to keep useless things
So I carry it
Look at it
Wonder how much time I have
To my next class
